The AWE Tuning Performance Mid Pipe

The AWE Tuning Performance Mid Pipe is non-resonated, and replaces the factory resonated section with straight-through 3-inch T304L stainless steel tubing that delivers the perfect exhaust note for those looking for all-out aggression. Ready to rumble.

The AWE Tuning F22 M240i/M235i Performance Mid Pipe is only confirmed to fit with AWE Tuning Touring Edition Exhausts. Fitment with stock, or other axle back units is not guaranteed.

Sound Perfection: AWE Tuning 180 Technology®

Perfect tone comes compliments of AWE Tuning AWE Tuning 180 Technology®.

As exhaust gases exit the N55/B58 engines and flow into an AWE Tuning 180 Technology® equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports, and into reflection chambers. Sound waves, carried by these exhaust gasses, bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers. By controlling the size and location of the ports and the chambers, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves rejoin the main exhaust flow creates a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies. What’s in the box?

Depending on which options you chose, the AWE Tuning BMW F22 M240i/M235i Exhaust Suite includes the axle-back exhaust system itself, the Performance Mid Pipe (if chosen), two exhaust tips, and all clamps and hardware required for installation.

Important Fitment Note:

If you’re looking to equip your F22 with the Performance Mid Pipe alone, please note that cutting the stock exhaust is necessary. Please see our installation instruction guide in the tab above. The Performance Mid Pipe is not applicable to the M240i by itself.
