AEM is proud to release three new additions to its line of new X-Series Digital Gauges; the AEMnet CAN bus gauge, GPS Speedometer and OBDII gauge! The AEMnet and GPS Speedometer can be connected to the following AEMnet devices:

  • Infinity ECU (all Series)
  • Series 2 EMS
  • EMS-4 Standalone Programmable EMS
  • AQ-1 Data Logger
  • 4-Channel Wideband UEGO AFR Controller (AEMnet Gauge Only)

GPS Speedometer

AEM’s X-Series GPS Speedometer (PN 30-0313) displays ground speed, course and altitude via an included 10Hz GPS receiver. Users can integrate the X-Series GPS Speedo into an Infinity ECU, Series 2 EMS or EMS-4 to add track mapping, and an included Vehicle Speed signal can be outputted to an existing speedometer to eliminate the need for a vehicle speed sensor.

A 10Hz GPS receiver receives speed, heading and altitude data from multiple satellites at 10 samples/second providing excellent accuracy and reliability. The GPS receiver includes a magnet and adhesive bottom for exterior mounting on the vehicle.

  • Displays ground speed, heading and altitude!
  • Center LED displays ground speed up to any MPH (the outer LEDs display a maximum speed of 160 MPH).
  • Integrate with the Infinity ECU, Series 2 or EMS-4 via AEMnet CAN bus to add track mapping!
  • Transmit vehicle speed to an existing speedometer without needing a VSS sensor

AEMnet CAN bus Gauge

AEM’s X-Series AEMnet CAN bus gauge (PN 30-0312) displays multiple channels of data from AEMnet CAN bus equipped devices—it’s like having multiple gauges in one display!

The AEMnet CAN bus gauge connects to AEMnet-equipped devices through a 4-pin DTM connector and displays data in either US or Metric units. View multiple data channels from an Infinity ECU, Series 2 or EMS-4 standalone, view AFR or Lambda from X-Series Wideband Controllers or 4-Channel Wideband Controllers, or view vehicle speed and acceleration from a Vehicle Dynamics Module (see available Channels List). Users can program which available channels they want to see on the display, choose between displaying Lambda or AFR and clear peak values for channels by using the buttons on the faceplate.

  • Reads data channels from AEMnet CAN bus-equipped devices!
  • Choose which available channels you want to see using buttons on the faceplate
  • User selectable units of measurement (US or Metric)
  • User selectable wideband measurements (AFR or Lambda)
  • Clear peak values for channels using buttons on the faceplate
  • Auto-hides channels that aren’t present on the data stream

ODBII Gauge

AEM’s X-Series OBDII gauge (PN 30-0311) puts multiple channels of data at your fingertips by reading the CAN bus stream of your vehicle’s OBD port and transmitting those channels to the gauge display. It reads Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and gives you the ability to clear codes. Wiring is as simple as connecting the gauge to your vehicle’s OBDII port using the supplied connector! Because the X-Series OBDII gauge reads OBDII parameters transmitted through a vehicle’s CAN datastream, it will only work on 2008+ model year vehicles.

EASY TO USE

Use the ‘Page’ button on the gauge face to scroll through available channels of data transmitted through the OBD port. Possible channels are listed below and may include IAT, EGT, RPM, Ethanol %, MAF, Fuel Pressure, Manifold Pressure, Boost Pressure, TPS, Vehicle Speed, Lambda and more (channel availability is ultimately dependent upon what channels are programmed to transmit by the vehicle manufacturer).

READ & CLEAR TROUBLE CODES

The ‘DTC’ button tells the gauge to scan for trouble codes and will report any stored DTCs, allowing you to look them up and determine the course of repair. This button also allows users to clear DTCs once the problem is resolved.

  • Reads data channels from 2008+ MY vehicles through the OBDII port!
  • Reads and clears Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)!
  • Easy to install and wire –power and data come from OBDII port using supplied connector

X-Series Gauges have a bright four-digit LED display that is 87% larger than our original digital gauges and provides better readability. A sweeping LED “needle” lines the edge of the gauge face for quick reference. A 33% overall increase in the gauge face display makes it easier to see at a glance. X-Series Gauges come with a black bezel and faceplate, and an optional silver bezel/white faceplate accessory kit is available (sold separately).

Despite the larger display, X-Series Gauges are contained in a standard 2-1/16th-inch (52mm) diameter housing for mounting in a standard gauge pod. Thanks to an advanced single board design, X-Series Gauges have an incredibly slim overall depth of under 0.825”, with a cup depth of only 0.200.” This shallow cup depth allows X-Series Digital Gauges to be mounted practically anywhere.

All X-Series Gauges Feature:

  • 2-1/16th (52mm) gauge diameter for easy mounting in gauge pods
  • Slim 0.825” overall gauge depth and 0.200” cup depth – mount them virtually anywhere!
  • 24 green outer LEDs for quick reference to engine parameter
  • Optional silver bezel with white faceplate accessory kit available (sold separately)
  • Auto dimming sensor delivers ideal display brightness
  • Positive locking connector provides secure connection
  • Compatible with 16v vehicle systems
